***Update***

It is with a heavy heart to let you know that Daisy earned her beautiful wings on 4/29/26. She went into cardiac arrest and after 35 minutes of life saving attempts to get a pulse back she was declared at 10:44pm! Our family is completely devastated, and in disbelief that is our reality. Her daughter Izzy is our main priority. She has been such an amazing kiddo throughout this journey, and we cannot think of a much stronger person in our lives right now. She is strong, smart and resilient! We want to truly whole heartedly thank everyone that has shared, donated, and messaged our family. Means the world to us. Daisy is truly loved and will be immensely missed. Her contagious laugh, storytelling, and charisma will forever live! We love you Daisy!

Daisy's celebration of life will be on 5/15/26 at 11am at the Holy Apostales Catholic Church in East Wenatchee followed by a reception at the same location.

Daisy is currently in the ICU at Valley Medical in Renton after suffering a sudden IPH stroke on 3/13/26 and is fiercely fighting for her life! She has undergone an ICP that was successful draining her brain bleed. But unfortunately, she continues to have strokes. She will be getting a TEE diagnostic either today or by Monday to view her heart and see if she may have a heart issue causing the strokes.

She is a loving sister, devoted mother, and a dedicated student who has been working tirelessly toward her dream of becoming a nurse—she was on track to graduate nursing school this year. Her instructor and dean of nursing from Bellevue College came to visit her and are completely shattered and devastated to see her in this condition. When just last week she was attending labs and last month she volunteered at the Seattle Seahawks, Nick of Time Foundation third annual youth heart screening event!

Daisy has a beautiful 11-year-old daughter, Izzy, who will be cared for by her loving family in E. Wenatchee in a safe and loving environment during this incredibly difficult time.

Daisy’s sudden illness has turned our family’s world upside down. The emotional toll is immense. Those who know Daisy know that she is a determined person, with fire in her heart! Her comical wittiness and storytelling are one of its kind and just her presences inspire everyone.
