Support Daisy's Family in Their Time of Grief

It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of the passing of our beloved sister, Daisy Gonzalez Mosso. Daisy was diagnosed with Leukemia last summer after returning from an amazing trip to New Mexico with Seeds of Peace. She was forever a champion of all voices, part of all leadership activities at the Facing History School, an artist, obsessed with Yoda, a lover of the great outdoors, and brought joy to us all.

Sadly, in order to remain at Daisy’s bedside, our mother had to stop working during the many months that Daisy underwent chemotherapy, surgeries, and other difficult treatments. Our mom was steadfast and dedicated to the care of her sick child. Now, we are struggling even more financially. We are facing the enormous costs of a proper funeral, and we hope to send the body back to our homeland of Mexico where Daisy can be laid to rest among family. Our mom not only has to contend with the cost associated with the death of her child, but she also has to continue to support and provide for her 4 other children.
