Hello everyone,

My name is Mariam, and I am a mother trying my best to rebuild stability for my 20-month-old daughter, Julia, after a very difficult period in our lives. I was able to receive a free daycare placement for her through state assistance, and I am truly grateful for that support.

However, the daycare is more than a one-hour walk every day because there is no bus line or public transportation available on the way to the daycare. Every morning I walk 30 minutes to drop her off and 30 minutes back, and I repeat the same walk again in the evening. Walking this distance daily with my little girl, her bag, and in cold or rainy weather has become extremely exhausting and unsafe.

I do not have a car, no family nearby to help, and no reliable transportation option. Missing daycare days puts my daughter at risk of losing her spot, and daycare is essential for her development, stability, and well-being.

I am asking for help only to cover basic daily transportation so I can safely take my daughter to daycare and bring her home each day. Any amount …truly any .. would make a real difference for us. Your kindness will help keep my daughter safe and allow us a small sense of stability during this difficult time.
