Gary Stebbings is a dear friend who is facing one of the toughest challenges of his life. At just 55 years old, Gary was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease about a year or two ago. The diagnosis has turned his world upside down, and the journey has been incredibly hard for both him and his family. Not long after his diagnosis, Gary’s wife made the difficult decision to divorce him, feeling unable to continue as his caregiver. Now, Gary is living with his 85-year-old mother, who is doing everything she can to care for him despite her own serious medical issues.

Gary’s mother is a remarkable woman, but at her age and with her own health struggles, it’s becoming more and more difficult for her to provide the daily care Gary needs. She is working tirelessly to find a facility that can offer Gary the support and care he deserves, but their financial resources are extremely limited. The costs of daily care, medical support, and a safe living environment are overwhelming for them both.
