Help Daenerys and her family as she fights rare kidney damage.

Daenerys is a beautiful 8-year-old child with loving parents, a brother, and a younger sister. On January 4th, she had major face swelling, vomiting, and blood in her urine. She's tested positive for strep but was asymptomatic. The strep is causing acute kidney damage, and her kidneys are leaking protein into her blood. Their doctor said her condition is rare and not something they can deal with and contacted Saint Louis Children's Hospital. They were advised to monitor her blood pressure and weight with daily checks at the local hospital until they could get her admitted into Saint Louis Children's. If anything changed, she would immediately be admitted.

Today, January 8th, she started vomiting and couldn't stop. 911 was called, and she was transported by ambulance to COX ER in Springfield, MO. After an ambulance ride to the ER this morning, she was sent to Barnes in STL for direct admission.

3:25 pm update: Thank you to everyone reaching out asking how to help. We have our son at home, so the animals and house are fine. I honestly can't think of anything. When people ask me questions, my brain just blanks. I'm not too proud to accept help; I just can't think about anything at all except the challenge in front of us, and nobody can help us with them.

Her symptoms have gotten worse, her blood analysis appears to be the same as Sunday, but her urinalysis is off the charts wild. Her kidneys are struggling, and she needs the kind of monitoring we can't provide adequately at home.

She is tired, she is scared, she is nauseous, and has stomach and lower back pain. We could use prayers for all of that.
