Our family is going through one of the hardest times of our life. My Dad/ Papa John passed and we will need to get him out to his birthplace in Illinois. This is the place he grew up and shared so many precious memories with all of us. During this time we need to be able to transport his granddaughters and supporting family out there for the service as well. My Dad was diagnosed with stage 4 prostate cancer in 2020. Since then he has encoutered many medications/ scans/ radiaion/ and lifestyle changes. Unfortunately after his newest radiation treatment, he developed liver failure amongst other new health challenges and he's been in the hospital for a month enduring immense pain and multiple procedures. He was on hospice and passed on 04/24/2025. He is the best father and grandpa. He was selfless. He was the voice of reason/ the family doctor/ the best hugger/ and funniest guy who could bring a smile to anyone's face. He served in the Marines and always lent a helping hand to anyone in need. Please help us get him home.
