Support Dad's Battle with Pancreatic Cancer
Donation protected
This is my Dad he is just 51 years old and was diagnosed with inoperable pancreatic cancer April 2023, if you know anything about pancreatic cancer then you know how lucky we are to still have him here with us! He has under gone a stent in his bile duct, chemo and radiation all while still working his construction job! While his tumor has not been lighting up on his last 2 PET Scans (praise God!!)
He just received news that he will need his stent replaced in his bile duct. He had a procedure on Friday 9/27 for a blockage and they found a clot forming on his liver. He has been currently working out of town to support himself and his wife and we all want him home closer to his drs and family. I would love to help take the burden off of him and help him be able to enjoy time off work without having to worry about bills. Allowing him time to heal and rest from current and future procedures.
UPDATE 11/21
The Drs. Believe it is now stage 4 and in his liver. He is swelling really bad they took almost 5L off his belly yesterday, and is scheduled for weekly drains now. They don’t like how his liver and kidney functions looked yesterday and we go back tomorrow to see if the fluid being removed has helped. If it hasn’t he will go back into the hospital. He is very weak and in lot of pain but still wants to cook for Thanksgiving. He is currently on the schedule to start chemo on Dec. 2nd. The fluid they drained is being tested for infection and cancer cells and we should find that out soon.
