Support Dacia's Battle Against Stage 4 Cancer
Donation protected
My sister Dacia was recently and unexpectedly diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. January 9th, she could hardly breathe, so she went to the doctor and he told her that she had a lung and a half full of pneumonia and was going septic. She was sent home with an antibiotic and told in 7 days she would feel better. A week later she got a call from a nurse who told her to get to the ER immediately, because her labs read that she had dangerously low blood levels. January 17th, she went into the ER and after running many tests they diagnosed her with stage 4 metastatic breast cancer. It had spread to her pelvic area, the base of her skull, jaw, spine, and lining of her lungs. What we were told was pneumonia turned out to be something much worse. They drained 3000cc's (3 quarts) of fluid (which was putting pressure on her heart, liver, kidneys and lungs,) a trademark of advanced cancer.
My sister is one of the most loving and kindhearted people I know, a real people person, industrious, widely depended on, and loved by all who know her. She is an amazing mother and nurse. She is determined to get to NED (no evidence of disease), and it means everything to us to see her get through this.
Dace hasn't been able to work since she got sick around Thanksgiving 2024. Any contribution you can make, big or small, is so sincerely appreciated and will go towards covering her medical expenses and cost of living while she goes through this battle. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!

WHAT ARE THE ODDS?
Dacia's sisterwife, Martha D, was diagnosed with cancer 8 days before Dacia was diagnosed. Due to work and insurance, Martha's medical care is in Arizona and Dacia's is in Utah, adding to the emotional and financial strain. See Martha's story and donate here:https://gofund.me/0c8cfa82
