West Valley Occupational Center ESL teacher Leonora "Grace" Siodora is currently undergoing costly treatments for cancer. She was diagnosed last spring, had surgery, and is in the middle of radiation treatments. She has worked in the Division of Adult and Career Education since 2021, working for many years at Pacoima Skills Center before coming to WVOC. She currently teaches an ESL class in the morning, has radiation in the afternoon, and then tries to muster the strength to come back and teach in the evening. Yet if you see Grace, she is always smiling through the pain, despite everything she is going through. Grace needs our help. She has used all her illness time and is struggling to pay all her medical bills. All the money we raise will go directly to Grace to help her stay afloat and concentrate not on mounting medical bills, but on getting better. Any amount you can give is much appreciated.
