We're reaching out with heavy hearts to share the story of an unimaginable tragedy that has struck our family.

 

On the first day of Spring Break, my 19-year-old son, Daaman Durnev, was flying home, excited to be reunited with his girlfriend, Hallie Crockett (19). While driving to pick him up from the airport, Hallie suffered a sudden and massive heart attack behind the wheel.

 

She is now in a coma and on life support, with no chance of recovery.

 

Hallie was Daaman’s first and only girlfriend—his best friend, his soulmate, and his light. Their bond was deep and beautiful, and this loss is something no young person should ever have to face.

 

As we prepare for the incredibly painful road ahead, we are starting this fundraiser to help Hallie’s family cover the unexpected medical costs and upcoming other expenses.
