I am a trans woman living in New Orleans, and I have experienced gender dysphoria my entire life. Gender affirming surgery is a crucial step for me to feel more at home in my body, and it will also help me navigate the world with greater safety. The current political climate, especially with anti-trans laws, has made life more challenging and dangerous for people like me. This surgery has the potential to make my experience navigating these treacherous times a bit safer and more comfortable.

The funds raised will go directly toward the costs of my surgery, including standard pre-op testing, as well as my recovery time while I am in Mexico. I will be getting the surgery in Guadalajara, and your support will help cover the medical expenses and ensure I have the resources to recover safely and comfortably.

As a therapist and community organizer, I dedicate my life to caring for others, especially within the trans community. Most of my clients are also part of the trans community. As a DJ, I strive to create spaces where LGBTQ+ people can feel free and celebrated. Now, I am asking for community care for myself. This surgery will help me continue my work with more ease, comfort, and safety.
