Cynthia has been my friend for 27 years, and in that time, she has touched countless lives as a youth sports coach, substitute teacher, and devoted mother of five. She’s always been the first to step up for others—whether cheering on her volleyball team or supporting students across the High Desert school districts. Her kindness, energy, and dedication have made her a beloved part of our community.

Recently, Cynthia received the difficult news that she has leukemia. The exact type is still unknown, and she is currently in the hospital facing a long and uncertain road to recovery. As a single mom, Cynthia will be under the care of physicians and unable to work for at least the next couple of months. This sudden change has put a tremendous strain on her ability to keep up with everyday bills and provide for her children.
