Dear Friends & Family,
I’m reaching out with heavy news. My sister Cynthia’s home caught on fire on Friday, June 13th in Springville around 6PM. The fire started in her daughter’s bedroom in the basement, likely caused by an electrical issue. Flames, water, and toxic smoke quickly destroyed everything in the room, and the damage spread throughout the entire home.
A pipe burst during the fire, flooding the downstairs, and thick smoke traveled upstairs—melting, soaking, and ruining nearly all her belongings. The home is now uninhabitable, and the air is so toxic with soot and smoke you can’t even breathe inside.
My sister Cynthia and her two teen kids (14 and 18 years old) have lost their clothes, personal items, electronics, furniture, and the stability of their everyday life. They now face the overwhelming task of starting over from scratch.
The emotional and financial toll is immense.
How You Can Help:
We’re asking for any donation to help my sister Cynthia and her family get through this incredibly difficult time. Funds will help cover:
• Emergency housing
• Clothing and daily essentials
• Food, transportation, and school/work needs
• Replacing work tools and lost equipment
If you prefer to give directly, donations can also be dropped off at my home and I will get them to her.
Everyone that knows my sister Cynthia knows she is the most giving and generous person out there. I've always looked up to her. Even when she is not in the best financial situation, she is often the first one to step in to help others in need. I admire her resiliency and generous heart. I love her and want her to feel a sense of peace during this trying time.
Thank you for any support, no matter how big or small. Your kindness and prayers mean everything right now.
God bless you and thank you! ❤️
