Support Cynthia's Battle Against Breast Cancer

After rushing to the ER for something completely unrelated to her diagnosis and two agonizing months of testing and awaiting results, on July 15, 2024, my little sister, Cynthia, was diagnosed with HER-2 Positive Breast Cancer.

Cynthia’s diagnosis came as a complete shock to all of us! Especially her children. They’ve always known their mommy to be fun, strong, and super active! Always ready to get out and try something new while keeping health and self-care at the forefront of everything. It was devastatingly challenging to explain to her children, Mia (11) and Jovani (5), that things would have to temporarily take a drastic turn.

Cynthia has spent 34 years sharing all her light and love with everyone around her. I always say that she has a heart of gold! She has always been the pillar of our family because of her warm and loving nature. Anyone who knows my sister’s heart can attest that Cynthia is one of the best human beings to ever know!

My sister is facing months of chemotherapy, tests, and scans, which will be followed by surgery with possible continued infusions. The cost of her cancer treatment, coupled with life’s everyday expenses as a single mother of two, will be nothing short of overwhelming.

Following diagnosis, Cynthia has been given a very aggressive treatment plan consisting of 6 months of initial chemotherapy followed by surgery. We are conservatively looking at an 8–10-month treatment plan. We are down one session with 5 more to go! She is a champ, and I know she will get through all of this in no time with all our support and love!

There has been a massive outpour from family & friends asking how they can help, and from the bottom of our hearts, we cannot thank you enough. All your prayers, generosity, and positive thoughts are greatly appreciated.

Cynthia has always been a fighter; she is a warrior, one of the strongest women I know, and we are so lucky to have her in our lives!

Today, I humbly ask for any donations to go to my sister’s family. The money funded will be used towards the mounting medical bills, nutrition products, bills, treatment, and any myriad of unforeseen costs to help her get through this journey.
