Support Cynthia Vance's Family After Tragedy

We are heartbroken to share the devastating and senseless death of Cynthia Vance. In the early evening of Wednesday, July 23rd, Cynthia was fatally shot by her neighbor while inside her Vancouver, Washington home. (KOIN News; KATU; The Columbian). She was 77.

Cynthia was a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend. She spoke with her daughter, Rhonda, every day. She loved her crafts projects; she especially loved to knit. She also loved to garden and tended daily to her flowers. She made the world a better and more beautiful place.

We, as close friends, are organizing this GoFundMe to help ease the financial strain of funeral arrangements on Cynthia’s family as they grieve this tragic loss. As you can imagine, Cynthia’s family is in shock and bereft. Burying a loved one with care is difficult under any circumstances, but particularly when unexpected. This is a painful moment for Cynthia’s family; your care and contribution will help.
