Sadly in need of help from my friends and others. I suddenly lost the love of my life, Harlen Miller, 82 years old. 12 hours after being told he wasn't feeling well and his blood pressure kept dropping and meds only temporarily raised it, he left to be with our Lord God and brother Jesus, meeting his family at the pearly gates of Heaven who left us a while ago. Harlen was in Majestic Care dementia unit for about 6 months now. I was just getting used to the routine of visiting my husband and not knowing if he would know me or not. But I dealt with it and went with the time zone he was living in at that moment. I was getting used to this new way of life when all of a sudden, the carpet was pulled out from under me and took my husband, Harlen Miller of 47 years, along with it. Living on a fixed income and most of it went straight to Majestic Care has now put me in a bad way.

I had no idea how much it cost to bury someone, and that's with the plot already paid for. I got the cheapest casket, cheapest vault, no flowers on the casket, and no extras.

Still, the bill is between $8,000-$10,000.
