Support Cylus's Fight Against Neuroblastoma
Donation protected
Our world changed forever when our sweet and strong Cylus was diagnosed with High Risk Neuroblastoma, a rare and aggressive childhood cancer. What we thought was a simple stomach ache turned into something unimaginable - a large tumor on his liver that has metastasized into his lungs and bone marrow. Now he is fighting for his life.
Since arriving at the hospital, Cylus has undergone countless tests, biopsies, and procedures. His treatment plan is intense and will last at least a year to a year and a half. He is currently undergoing five rounds of chemotherapy every three weeks, each requiring a five-day hospital stay. After two rounds, doctors harvested his bone marrow in preparation for future transplants. If the tumor responds to chemo and shrinks, Cylus will undergo major surgery to remove a large mass pressing against a vital blood vessel in his abdomen. Following this, he will endure two separate bone marrow transplants, each requiring long hospital stays due to the risks and intensity of the procedures.
After chemotherapy and surgery, Cylus will undergo specialized scans (MIBG scans) to determine if the cancer is gone. We are praying every day that this treatment will lead to a full recovery, but we know the road ahead is long and difficult.
To make things even harder, our family is also battling cancer in another way—Cylus's grandmother is currently undergoing her own cancer fight. Balancing the care and emotional toll of both battles has been overwhelming, but we are holding onto hope.
We have been blessed with incredible support from family, friends, and even kind strangers, but we need help to continue this fight. Medical expenses, travel costs, and time away from work are piling up, and we are humbly asking for your support—whether through donations, prayers, or simply sharing our story.
Cylus is fighting with unimaginable strength, and we are standing with him every step of the way. We truly believe in the power of love and community, and we know that with your support, we will beat this.
