Nery Sanchez is a beloved server at the California Yacht Club, where she has worked for many years. She is an amazing human being who has formed a wonderful personal connection with every family and child at the club. Nery is loving, caring, and knows everyone by name. She has truly been a constant for the community, especially for our kids, through all of the club’s many transitions.

Recently, Nery was diagnosed with breast cancer and she underwent surgery the week between Christmas and New Year’s Eve. While she is fortunate to have health insurance, there are still many expenses that aren’t covered, such as help around the house, meals, and other living costs that can add up during recovery. Our goal is to make her as comfortable as possible and to ease the burden so she can focus on healing.
