Help Cumberland Valley Science Olympiad get to Nationals!

We are the Cumberland Valley High School Science Olympiad Team, and we need your help to make our dream a reality.

After a year of intense preparation and competition, we proudly earned 2nd place in Pennsylvania, securing a coveted spot at the 2025 National Science Olympiad Tournament in Nebraska—our second in-person Nationals appearance in team history. We are one of only two teams representing the state of Pennsylvania at this prestigious event.

But now, we face a major obstacle: the cost.

To attend Nationals, our team needs to raise $33,000 to cover essential expenses like transportation (a bus), hotel accommodations, and meals. Without financial support, each student will be required to pay an exorbitant amount of money out of pocket—an overwhelming burden for many.

Science Olympiad is more than just a competition. It’s an academic passion where our students build helicopters, bridges, electric vehicles, and robots, and study topics from all four fields of STEM through 17 different test events. For us, Nationals is a once-in-a-lifetime chance to showcase our talents on a national stage, meet like-minded peers, and represent our school and state with pride.
