****Update: Curt gained his angel wings this morning and lost a short tough battle.

Hello, my name is Lauren, and I have been a close family friend of the Vincent family for many years. I consider Curt a big brother to me and he is always a great guy to be around. On November 30, 2024, the Vincent family lives were turned upside down when Curt collapsed while decorating the family Christmas tree with the loves of his life and suffered a major heart attack. Overnight he had surgery and had his 15th heart stent put in place. He has been in the Cardiac ICU since then and was placed on a heart pump, ventilator, and countless medicines. Curt has had some ups and downs while in the ICU, but eventually had the heart pump surgically removed on December 4th. While in the ICU they have found that his lungs, kidneys, and liver have also taken a hit. They are starting to ween Curt off the sedative and eventually take him off the ventilator. Curt has a long, long road to recovery ahead of him.

Curt is a huge family man and is married to the love of his life, Shari, and they have 5 beautiful children. While they have been hit tremendously hard with this life changing event so has the factors of medical bills, expenses, and whatever things the Vincent family will incur in the future. It will only be fitting to help their family out as much as they help everyone else out.
