Hi, my name is Wendy Jacobson, and I’m raising funds for my brother, Curtis Laisle.
Just a few weeks ago, our lives changed overnight when he suffered a stroke that left him without the use of his left arm and left leg. He is currently in rehabilitation and working hard every single day, but he still needs help with nearly everything, including basic daily activities.
He currently cannot walk, relies on a wheelchair, and needs help with even the most basic daily tasks.
The hardest part is that his recovery is just beginning, and his insurance is no longer covering the level of rehabilitation he needs. Stroke recovery takes time, consistency, and continued therapy, and without it, progress can slow or even stop.
Right now, he does not have a safe place to continue his recovery, and our family is doing everything we can to advocate for him and find the care he needs. Unfortunately, we cannot do this alone.
We are raising funds to help cover continued rehabilitation, therapy, and essential support during this critical time. Every contribution will go directly toward helping him regain strength, independence, and the best possible quality of life.
If you are able to donate, we are incredibly grateful. If not, sharing this would mean just as much.
Thank you so much for your kindness, support, and prayers during this difficult time.
