Prayers needed! I am posting this on behalf of my brother and my family. As many of you know my brother, Curtis, was diagnosed with PH+ Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia at 17 years old (2014). He battled hard through many tests, treatments, transfusions, hospital stays, and a bone marrow transplant. Beating it for a few months then relapsing. He then had to choose between clinical trials and his life. He chose the trials. After many months at CHOP receiving Car-T19 cell therapy he had finally beat the cancer and went into remission. Unfortunately 9 years later (at 29years old) the cancer has returned. We found this out in January and since that time he has mostly been at Geisinger recieving temporary treatment and chemo. His doctors came up with a plan for new trials of Car-T19/22 but that involves a 5 week stay in Center Philadelphia (Franklin Residence) while he gets treatment at CHOP. During these 5 weeks my mom, stepmom and dad will be staying with him in Philadelphia which means everybody is out of work. My brother is very private about his personal life but now asking for help is necessary. During this time my family needs help as much of this is being paid for out of pocket (medical bills/hotel/food/transportation/other necessities, plus bills at home still coming in). Any donations would be very greatly appreciated and I know my brother would appreciate it knowing some of the financial burden can be lifted. Less stress = better results. If you cannot donate but can share this, that is also very appreciated. Thank you all and I will keep this updated as his treatment continues. They left Sunday afternoon and am hopeful to see my brother come home healthy. This will be a long and scary battle but he is a fighter!
Thank you all.
Here is my venmo for anyone who is willing to donate directly! All funds go directly to my stepmom as she is his care manager.

Also adding this for anyone who knows my dad, Curt Zellers. Please pray as last week at his pre-op appointment for his rotator cuff sugury, they found out he has a severe case of Mitral Valve Regirgation meaning blood is flowing from his heart but not going back properly. He is in Philadelphia to support my brother but experiencing shortness of breath and swelling in his leg. He has an appointment at Penn Medicine tomorrow with a cardiologist. Please pray!
