Support Curtis Bond's Long Road to Recovery

Hi everyone,

I never thought I’d be writing something like this, but life can change in an instant. Recently, I was involved in a devastating accident where I was run over. The impact left me with injuries that are nothing short of life-altering:

My left leg was shattered and now has 16 metal plates to hold it together.

My right leg was also shattered and required a steel rod to stabilize it, as well as a metal plate to hold my ankle together.

I broke five ribs, making even breathing a challenge.

On top of all that, I suffered a traumatic brain injury (TBI) that affects my cognitive and emotional processing.

I also had a serious abdominal injury that required surgery to remove parts of my small and large intestines, including my right colon. Since then, I've been dealing with severe abdominal pain and related complications.

Doctors have told me my recovery will take nearly a year, and that’s if everything goes smoothly. I’ll need extensive physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, and medical equipment for mobility and home care, and likely help covering living expenses while I’m unable to work or function normally.

This has been the most painful experience of my life. I’m fighting every day to stay positive and focus on healing, but the emotional and financial burden is overwhelming. That’s why I’m asking for help. Your donation will go directly toward:

Medical bills and therapy costs

Specialized recovery equipment (wheelchair, shower chairs, ramps, etc.)

Home accommodations to make life manageable during recovery

Daily living expenses while I’m out of work
