Support Curtiss and Roxy's fight against Glioblastoma

Friends, acquaintances, and family, this is Breanna, Roxy's close friend, reaching out with deep care and concern for our dear friends Curtiss and Roxy Nunally. At the end of January, Curtiss, suffered a series of seizures which sent him to the ER and then to a neurology hospital in Denver. After a weeklong stay in the Neuro ICU that included a biopsy, doctors confirmed the heartbreaking diagnosis: Glioblastoma, aggressive brain cancer.

Curtiss is a devoted father of 2 beautiful children, Kaya (22) and Cyruss (15), who love their dad dearly. A Navy veteran, he and Roxy chose beautiful Boulder, CO as their home where they enjoy biking, outdoor adventures, and career opportunities-while staying closely connected to their friends and family in Tennessee. Though we miss them here, we love seeing them live their dream in Colorado.

Now, they need our support.

Curtiss will immediately begin radiation and chemotherapy at the renowned oncology center at HCA Swedish in Englewood, CO. Roxy will continue working while leaning on friends and family to help manage Curtiss’s care. While her job is stable and Curtiss does have insurance through the VA, the added financial burden—traveling to treatments, possible temporary lodging, gas, food, childcare, symptom care, healthcare expenses, etcetera—will be a heavy strain.

This GoFundMe is our way of showing love and support from near and far. Every donation, no matter the amount, will go directly to the Nunally family to ease this burden and allow them to focus on what matters most—Curtiss’s treatment and time together as a family.
