My name is Takeitha Willis. My brother-in-law, Curtis Carver, was in a bad car accident on 1/9/26. He has a fractured shoulder and a bruised liver. He was life flighted from Greenville, KY Emergency Department to Evansville. Currently, he is in ICU while they monitor his liver to make sure it doesn't start to bleed. They are also waiting on ortho to decide if his shoulder will require surgery. They were told today that the plans is for him to be there for at least a few more days.

Curtis has been on the fire department for years. He is always quick to drop what he is doing when something happens, to help those in need. Without hesitation, he's there. Misty will be unable to work due to staying at the hospital with him. She has barely left his side since it happened.

We don't have much more information than that at the moment. Once ortho decides if surgery is needed or not, we should know more. I will update when that happens.
