Support Curt Mitchell's Road to Recovery
Donation protected
Thank you for taking the time to visit this page and learn more about how you can support Curt and Karen Mitchell and their family.
Many of you know that Curt was recently in a traumatic mountain bike accident where he broke three vertebrae in his neck and, for a short time, lost all feeling in his arms and hands. After an incredible emergency surgery and a difficult 2-week hospital stay, we’re grateful to share that Curt is now back home. While his recovery is far from over, being home is a huge step. He’s beginning the long road of healing—exploring innovative and integrative therapies to support his physical, mental, and emotional recovery.
For those who know Curt and Karen, you know they’re the first to offer help—and the last to ask for it. But this is one of those times when we’re hoping their community can rally around them.
How You Can Help:
Your donation will go directly toward easing the day-to-day burdens on the Mitchell family—helping with ongoing medical expenses, alternative healing modalities, transportation to appointments, and household support. This allows them both to focus on Curt’s care and the well-being of their 15-year-old triplets.
Even small gestures go a long way. Whether it’s helping with a meal, or making a financial contribution, every bit helps lift the weight they’re carrying.
If a donation through Zelle or Venmo is better, please use Karen's Venmo: @Karen-Mitchell-79 or contact us directly for Zelle. Every dollar goes directly to the family’s most immediate and meaningful needs.
Curt and Karen have always lived with generosity, love, and resilience. Right now, they could use a little of that love and care reflected back at them.
Feel free to share this page with close friends or those in your circles who would want to support. With your help, we can surround the Mitchells with the care, strength, and community they deserve.
Thank you for your kindness, generosity, and prayers. The Mitchells are deeply grateful for every gesture of support.
