Curtis “Curt” Linnell passed away on October 5, 2026, after a sudden and devastating medical crisis. He had been in the hospital in Atlanta for several weeks with serious complications involving his gallbladder, pancreas, and liver. While doctors worked to get the inflammation under control, his condition suddenly worsened. Curt was moved to the ICU, placed on life support, and ultimately passed away surrounded by loved ones. Just a few months earlier, Curt and his family had moved to Atlanta after spending their lives in Utah.

Curt’s death has left an enormous hole in the lives of the people who love him most. He was funny, a huge BYU fan, and truly a friend to everyone. He was the father of four children, all under 12 years old, and his wife is now facing the heartbreaking reality of raising them on her own while grieving this unimaginable loss.

This fundraiser is to help Curt’s family with funeral costs and living expenses as they adjust to life without him. Donations can help ease some of the financial pressure on his wife as she cares for their four young children and manages the day-to-day needs that continue after the service is over.
