Running the Paris Marathon to fight PSP

Hi, I’m Sam Howe, and I recently lost my grandfather to PSP. My grandfather was an amazing man and a hard worker all his life. Even through sickness, my grandfather was in my life every step of the way. From rushing to the hospital in NYC from Atlanta for my birth, all the way up until he sent me off to the University of Michigan, fighting his illness, to tell me the brief phrase, "Knock 'em Dead."

My Grandfather loved many things. He loved to dance, wear crazy clothes, and travel. He traveled all over the world, but the city he and my grandmother fell in love with was Paris. The one hobby he seemed to love as much as any of them was running. That is why while I am studying abroad, I will be completing the Paris marathon nearly two years to the day after his passing.

In an effort to honor him and his memory, I have decided to start a GoFundMe with all proceeds going to CurePSP. This charity aims to provide the resources needed to combat a disease that affects so many individuals and their families.
