Hello Friends and Supporters,
We are honored to share that ten of our talented CSULB filmmakers and their crews have been invited to showcase their work at the prestigious Mill Valley Film Festival (MVFF).
This recognition is not only a celebration of their artistry, but also an incredible opportunity for young creators to see their films on the big screen, connect with other filmmakers, and take the very first steps toward their careers.
To make this dream possible, we are raising funds to cover essential expenses such as lodging, airfare, transportation, and DCP (Digital Cinema Package) file fees.
Our Story
We’re a group of student filmmakers whose work has just been accepted into the Mill Valley Film Festival - a dream come true for us. For young creators still learning our craft, this is a once-in-a-lifetime chance to share our stories with a wider audience and begin carving a path into the industry.
It’s About You
But this story isn’t really about us; it’s about you. Your support is what makes it possible for students like us to attend. When you give, you’re not just covering travel or lodging costs. You’re helping launch the next generation of filmmakers. You’re making sure we can be there in person to represent our school, our community, and everyone who has believed in us.
And it doesn’t stop with us. Your support shows future students and young filmmakers that they can do it too - that their voices and stories matter, and that opportunities like this are within reach if they keep creating. You’re not only helping today’s students, you’re inspiring tomorrow’s.
How You Can Help
A little goes a long way: one gift might help a student cover their baggage fees, another might ensure our film is formatted for the big screen. Every contribution, big or small, directly helps us take one more step toward Mill Valley.
Even if you’re unable to contribute financially, sharing our campaign with friends and family who love film would mean the world to us. Together, we can put CSULB on the map at MVFF and show the world what our community of storytellers can do.

Come join us: CSULB students, alumni, family, friends, animation enthusiasts, filmmakers, writers, creatives and people who just like frozen yogurt to fundraise to help 10 young filmmakers and their crew screen and attend 2025 Mill Valley Film Festival!
ALL proceeds will go to help the filmmakers cover the costs of the Digital Cinema Package & travel expenses for the 2025 Mill Valley Film Festival! It is an honor for CSULB to be representing in such a big way. As young filmmakers being able to show our films and attend the such a prestigious festival in person is a tremendous opportunity.
Creative community and the arts are so important now more than ever to cultivate, participate and support. We are creating a fun inviting mixer, full of good vibes to gather and help artists hang, mingle, network or reconnect with other artists.
This will be a fun event! We hope to see you there!
