Hi, I am here to try to raise funds to help alleviate the financial crunch brought on by my Cousin Crystel's recent battle and recovery from stage 2 Melanoma. Any of you who know Crystel know she has a huge heart and will help anyone however she can. So now it's my turn to help her.

Crystel was diagnosed with skin cancer and quickly scheduled for surgery to remove a large area on the back of her leg. They also opened an area around the groin/hip to test lymph nodes to make sure they got it all. This left her with two large incisions. Thankfully, the surgery was a success! Crystel is now cancer-free! But the recovery has been quite tasking, to say the least.

The hip/groin incision area has become quite inflamed on the inside (lymphedema). This causes her whole leg to swell and is very painful. The only course of action is to stay off of it as much as possible. This has made going back to work full-time difficult. Pile that on top of time away from work for the surgery and many other related appointments, it is easy to see how monthly household expenses (Gas, Electric, Water) and the many ongoing/follow up medical bills are quickly adding up.
