Crystal is full of life, love, and the kind of energy that makes everyone around her feel seen and cared for. She’s the person who shows up for others without hesitation, and now she needs us to show up for her. Crystal is a devoted wife to her husband, Omar, and a loving mother to her son, Matt. Her family is her whole world. She’s also a passionate pre-K teacher at Encounter Preschool, where she pours her heart into her students every single day. To them, she’s more than a teacher — she’s a source of comfort, encouragement, and joy. Outside the classroom, Crystal truly lives life to the fullest. She loves skating, playing tennis, and spending time with her dogs — the little moments that bring her so much happiness.

Recently, everything changed in an instant. Crystal suffered a sudden and severe stroke that has left her unable to work and facing a long and uncertain road to recovery. What was once an active, vibrant life is now filled with hospital stays, rehabilitation, and the fight to regain her strength and independence. As she begins this journey, her husband Omar is now the sole provider for their family, while also standing by her side every step of the way.
