My name is Linda, and I am the mom of Crystal MacKenzie. Crystal is a licensed home baker and the heart behind Cherry Bomb Cookie Co. This time of year is usually her busiest season, and her baking business is her only source of income. Sadly, Crystal had to cancel all her Thanksgiving orders and will likely miss out on Christmas orders as well.

Crystal has been diagnosed with double pneumonia and is currently in the ICU at Exeter Hospital. Today, she was intubated and placed in an induced coma so her body can rest and heal. Her oxygen levels are dangerously low, and she is struggling to breathe. The infection has also spread to her blood, and she is battling a UTI on top of everything else.

We are hoping to raise enough to cover Crystal’s monthly bills and help her and her 14-year-old son get through the next holiday season. As a single mom, this is an incredibly difficult time for her and our family. We want to make sure her son’s holiday is still bright, even as Crystal fights to recover.
