In February, I suffered a serious injury, tearing my gluteus minimus tendon and my labrum. Despite seeking medical help, I was misdiagnosed and advised to continue physical therapy, which unfortunately made my condition worse over the summer. Now, I am scheduled for hip surgery next week, and the journey to recovery will be long and challenging.

The costs associated with my injury have quickly added up. I am facing medical bills from my former doctor, surgery expenses, ongoing physical therapy, and the need for medical equipment to help me recover. I have been in a wheelchair and unable to do normal day-to-day activities, which has made life much more difficult for me and my family. I will need to remain in the wheelchair until at least March, and this has affected my ability to work and participate in the activities I love.

Throughout this difficult time, I have been grateful for the support of my family, friends, our volleyball club, and especially my husband and children. Their encouragement has kept me going, but the financial strain is overwhelming. Any help will go directly toward my medical expenses and recovery, allowing me to focus on healing and getting back to the life I love.
