Life can change in an instant, and right now our dear friend Crystal is facing one of the toughest battles. She has recently been diagnosed with Stage 2 Triple Negative Breast Cancer, and while she is strong and determined, this journey will require every ounce of strength and support around her. If you know Crystal, you know the kind of person she is. She is one of the most caring, selfless people you will ever meet — the type of person who would truly give the shirt off her back to help someone in need. She has spent so much of her life taking care of others, always showing up with kindness, compassion, and a heart bigger than most. She is also a devoted mother to her amazing high school daughter, who means the world to her. As a mom, her focus is not only on fighting this cancer, but also on being present for her daughter during such an important time in her life. Working in the ER, she has always been on the front lines helping people during their most vulnerable moments. But during treatment, being around the constant exposure to illness and germs in the hospital could put her at serious risk. To protect her health while undergoing treatment, she will need to step away from work for a period of time. This is where we can come together for someone who has given so much to others.
