Support Crystal's family during this horrible time

Donation protected
My heart aches with emotions as I think of Crystal. She's a beacon of love, a tireless mother, a friend who puts everyone else's needs before her own. The strength she displays in the face of adversity is breathtaking; as a single mother, she's shielded her three children from the harsh realities of her past, her love and devotion protecting their innocence. The image of her, guiding her children through the school year, fills me with a profound sense of admiration. Knowing the struggles she’s overcome makes her achievements even more moving, a testament to her unwavering spirit. Each day for Crystal is a silent battle fought with grace and unmatched dedication. My hope is that peace and happiness will soon find their way to her and her beautiful family. She deserves a world of joy after all she's endured.
The world crumbled for Crystal. Monday, March 12th, which brought devastating news: her mother, Susan (Susie) Johnson, was found unresponsive, and then ultimately life-flighted from her home to the nearest hospital. The flu, a basic virus that most never notice having, wreaked havoc on her MS-weakened body, and struck with merciless force.

On Monday, March 17th, Crystal received the earth-shattering phone call. Her beloved grandmother, Eva Johnson, was in a horrific car accident in Columbus—a collision with a police officer, while in route to see her daughter at Fairfield Medical Center in Lancaster, Ohio. The news sliced through Crystal like a knife, leaving a gaping wound of fear and despair. Eva was transported to Grant Medical Center, and is now in the Intensive Care Unit, her body battered and bruised. Fractured ribs, a chest tube, a fractured pelvis… the list of injuries is a cruel inventory of the suffering she is experiencing. This family is clinging to hope, praying for a miracle, but they are heartbroken, helpless, and desperately hoping for strength in this unimaginable time of crisis.

Susie unfortunately succumbed to her illness on March 24th, 2025. The obituary can be found here:

Crystal, a beacon of strength, is navigating a storm of unimaginable tragedy. One devastating event after another has crashed down upon her, leaving her struggling to keep her head above water. She is tirelessly caring for her beloved children, shouldering the weight of the world for them, even as her own family battles overwhelming health crises. The toll is immense; she's unable to work, leaving her facing a terrifying financial precipice. This isn't just about money; it's about hope. It's about giving Crystal a lifeline, a chance to breathe, to heal, to focus on her family without the crushing weight of financial despair. Every contribution, no matter how small, will directly ease her burden, providing a glimmer of light in her darkest hour. Let's rally together and show Crystal that she's not alone; let's help her carry this immense load, offering comfort and support in her time of profound sorrow. This is our chance to show Crystal, that she has an army she can lean on during this devastating time.
