Help Crystal Fight Anal Cancer

Hi, my name is Jennifer, and I’m fundraising for my amazing sister, Crystal, who was recently diagnosed with Stage IIA anal cancer.

Just a month ago, Crystal’s life changed in an instant. Since her diagnosis, she’s already had a blood transfusion, two iron infusions, and had a port placed in preparation for the next big steps in her fight — chemotherapy and radiation, which begin next week.

Crystal is just 54 years old and one of the strongest people I know. She’s staying positive through every painful procedure, every moment of exhaustion, and every missed day of work. But the reality is, this journey is taking a toll on her physically, emotionally, and financially.

Because of her treatments and how sick she’s been feeling, she’s already had to miss work — and will continue to be out while undergoing chemo and radiation. On top of that, her insurance is not covering everything, forcing her to pay for parts of her treatment out of pocket — while also worrying about how to cover regular bills without her usual income.

Crystal is always the first person to show up for others. She’s the helper, the encourager, the one who gives without asking for anything in return. Now, she’s the one who needs help — and it’s our turn to lift her up.
