Crystal Lappin is a selfless, caring and compassionate individual who puts others in front of herself on a regular basis. Her career is to serve others through empathy, compassion, and integrity. She works as a family case manager at a homeless shelter serving the public of Central Oregon.

Though incredibly optimistic, Crystal recently received a diagnosis of stage 3 rectal cancer and melanoma. She endures chemotherapy and radiation therapy treatment daily. Crystal’s treatment is extensive, as she will continue to bear radiation, chemotherapy, and multiple surgeries for months to come. In addition, Crystal raises a blended family with four children and 2 cats. Her loving family consists of Maisy and Logan who are 11 year-old twins, Vedder age 13, and Eli age 16. Crystal is married to her loving and supportive husband Jake. They have been married for 3 years, but together for 6. Jake works hard for his family to provide, encourage, and remain positive during these unfortunate circumstances.

Due to her diagnosis, Crystal’s medical bills are only going to increase through her ongoing treatments and surgeries. Crystal has been unable to work due to the lengthy and admirable treatments that she has been undergoing. As a result, the spiraling increase of medical bills and lose of wages due to her absence at work have weighed a number on her and her family financially. Crystal is no stranger to hustling and a challenge in order to make ends meet, but it is detrimental for her to rest and focus solely on her treatment to rid her body of cancer.

Crystal touches the life of everyone that she meets through love and grace. She is an incredibly loyal person who models her life around helping those who are less forunate or in need. As much as she has been relunctant to ask for assistance, she cannot do this on her own. Crystal is determined to win this battle to be able to tell her success story to people alike.
Thank you for taking the time to read about Crystal’s fight. Everyone can help in their own way. Even if you are unable to donate, you can help us spread awareness and get additional eyes on our campaign for Crystal by sharing it with friends, family and coworkers. We thank you all in advance for your kindness, consideration, and generosity. Crystal and her family will be eternally grateful for any help she's able to get at this time.
