Hello, my name is Crystal Hall. I'm a 51-year-old mom and grandmother of 5 grandchildren. I currently reside in Newark, NJ, and I have a one-bedroom studio. My rent is $288 monthly, which I've been renting for 2 years. For the last year, I fell behind in my bills and my rent because I was supporting my family, and it got out of control because I wasn't budgeting wisely. I'm mentally disabled; I'm diagnosed with bipolar disorder, and I'm taking medication for my mental illness, but it's very hard for me to be consistent financially. If I'm depressed, I get off track.

I do not want to lose my apartment, but I'm in arrears of $3,146.00.

Please, I need help urgently. I went to court today to stop my eviction. I was given until December 24th to have $2,200. Please help me with whatever you can. I was told if I can come up with this amount, then I can be on a payment plan to get back on track.
