Crystal is diagnosed with a very rare high grade neuroendocrine breast cancer that has spread to her organs and bones (Stage 4). This very aggressively growing cancer is so rare that only 1% of breast cancer patients are diagnosed with it. Crystal receives treatment at MD Anderson Cancer Center, which is the #1 cancer center in the nation. Unfortunately, because this cancer is so rare, there is no prior data on which treatment will actually work. Crystal's oncologist has only seen one similar diagnosis in her entire career. Crystal has already received the gold standard in cancer treatment, 11 radiation treatments, 7 chemotherapy treatments, and now must receive chemotherapy weekly as the cancer growth has become even more aggressive.

Because Crystal is currently not able to work and does not have access to long term disability, we have decided to set up this Go Fund Me on her behalf to help her with monthly health insurance premiums and other related out of pocket medical expenses until she can reach a point of recovery to return to active employment.
