The family of Crystal Beynon is asking for your help in their time of hardship in their incurring financial burden.
Crystal Beynon suffered a massive brain bleed on July 25th. She was lifeflighted to a critical care hospital where they preformed emergency brain surgery. We were told she had o% chance of survival without it. So we held our breath until early morning hours to see for ourselves that she made it through the surgery.
We prayed for the day when she would wake up, and didn't know how much damage was done or if she would even remember her own children.
She was left with paralysis on her left side, on a ventilator, tube's in her head to relieve the brain pressure, eventually a tracheostomy and a feeding tube were put in.
Over the last 53 days that she has been in the hospital there have been many scary ups and downs, from 2 code blues due to tracheostomy coming out to another surgery after feeding was ripped out. Brain fluid leaking out from a tear settling between her skull and skin, attempted removal via needle, a drain put into her spine to remove the brain fluid, another leak of brain fluid out from her back, a spinal tap to remove fluid, and many other little setbacks.
But she is a fighter and has overcome incredible obstacles placed in front of her. She is getting some movement and feeling back into her left leg and we are hopeful for the future. Dr's say she is ready to transfer to a long term rehab facility closer to home.
As this has been a long hard crazy Rollercoaster of emotions on our family. We are also trying to keep a home for her to come home to. This has been a very big hardship on her family trying to endure the bills and expenses of what she can no longer pay along with all the new financial expenses coming our way.
As we are at 53 days of her in the hospital and on to a rehab facility with no end date of her recovery in sight we have decided it's time to ask our community and friends for help as we can no longer do it on our own.
Every little bit helps, whether Monetary or a share. And of course we will take every prayer for her recovery we can get.
Thank you for your time and your kindness in this very difficult time!
