Support Crybaby's Journey to a Loving Home

I have a stray cat named Crybaby who I’m trying to get vetted so I can get him in his forever home. Money is an issue that’s why I’m asking for help. I’ve known this kitty for about seven months and he was living in my backyard peacefully with another stray and feral cat. As the temperature got colder, one of the stray cats was taken inside because of her injury and I got her a forever home after a couple months of that treatment. The feral cat that was outside started attacking crybaby. Was being very food, protective and aggressive at crybaby, and would not allow him to eat or be at peace anymore. Crybaby looked to me for help and as the East Coast was about to get hit with this cold snap in ice storm, I brought him inside 12 days ago. Since coming inside, he has shown that he could be around humans. He uses the litter box regularly with no issues. He’s eating and drinking normally. I have him separated from my other three cats as I do with all kitties I’ll bring in to help. Unfortunately I can’t afford to take care of another cat. I need to get him vetted so I can get him to his forever home. He has already been fixed at some point he was TNR. Here’s the hard truth: I cannot afford his veterinary care (testing, vaccines, etc.). I’ve spoken with the SPCA, and they will cover his medical needs if I surrender him — which I will do if that’s what’s best for him.
That said, I’m willing to foster Crybaby and keep him stable if:
• Someone is interested in adopting him and handling vet care, or
• People are willing to help cover his vetting so I can place him responsibly
I don’t like asking for money, and I’m not trying to guilt anyone. I just want to make sure I’ve explored all options before surrendering him to a shelter.
If support doesn’t come together, I’ll do the responsible thing and turn him over to the SPCA so he gets the care he needs.
I know it takes a village sometimes to help in situations like this and I’m asking my village to help. I can take care of my own kitties. I just need help with this one.
Thank you in advance for everyone who cares and gets to this point reading. Again I appreciate all the help that you can give.
Sincerely Grateful,
Tommy
