Cruz is a passionate young man who loves old pickup trucks, country music, and camping trips with friends. Recently, while camping, Cruz suffered a devastating accident when his pants caught fire, resulting in second and third degree burns on both calves, shins, and up the back of his left leg. He is currently in the ICU Burn Unit, facing a long and challenging recovery.

Cruz has already undergone two skin graft surgeries and will remain in the hospital for several weeks, including spending his 17th birthday in the hospital. The road ahead includes extensive medical care, outpatient therapy, and ongoing wound care at home. The financial strain is significant, with hospital bills, travel expenses, missed work, food, medical supplies, and home care all adding up quickly. Our family is doing everything we can to support Cruz, but the emotional and physical toll is immense.

Cruz will need continued emotional support and therapy to help him heal, both physically and mentally. We are hopeful that with the help of our community, Cruz can focus on his recovery and eventually get back to the things he loves. Any support will make a real difference for Cruz and our family during this difficult time.
