My name is Maricruz, and I am one of four daughters raising funds for our mother, Cruz.
On Monday, January 26th, our mom was detained during one of the raids in Phoenix, AZ, at Zipps. She is currently being held at a detention center, and at this time, we do not know how long she will be there.
Our mother is a single mom of four and one of the main providers for our household. She has lived in the United States for over 25 years with no criminal record and has worked as a Kitchen Manager for many years. She is the hardest-working, most dedicated, and giving person we know.
She has always been the heart and center of our family, supporting us in every way she could. We rely on my mother emotionally and financially in many ways, especially our youngest sister, which makes this situation even more urgent for our family.
We are raising funds to cover legal and attorney fees, estimated at around $20,000. These funds will allow us to fight for our mom and keep our family together.
