Help Cru Eaton Recover After Life-Threatening Accident

Hi everyone,

I'm reaching out on behalf of Cru Eaton, who recently suffered a life-threatening Motocross accident on Sunday April 27th at 4:30pm. He was racing at the Loretta Lynn’s Area Qualifier race in Delta, UT and had a bad racing accident. He was hospitalized for 5 days due to serious injuries and is now on a long road to recovery.

The injuries sustained:

-C6 cervical spine fracture

-Pneumothorax on left lung

-Hemothorax on left lung

-5 broken ribs on right, 5 broken ribs on left (10 total)

-Bilateral pulmonary contusion

-Shattered right and left clavicle bones to pieces

-Abrasion right arm/left arm

-Fracture of Manubrium in chest

-Subcutaneous emphysema due to trauma/major

Unfortunately, this happened just after he had transferred to a new job — one that he hadn’t yet been able to enroll in health insurance for. With mounting medical bills, no income, and ongoing responsibilities like child support and basic living expenses, the financial strain is overwhelming.

His initial hospital bill came in at a staggering $82,243.16; since then financial assistance has kicked in as well to help reduce the cost. The monetary goal is now set for $22,000 to cover both hospitals (Delta & Provo) along with follow up appts.

Cru is a hardworking, devoted father who wants to continue supporting his infant son (4 months old) and himself. If you know Cru, you know that he is the first one to jump in and help when someone is in need. Now, he needs our help to get back on his feet. The funds raised will go toward:
