Support Crockett Abraham's Battle with Medulloblastoma

Crockett Abraham is an incredibly smart, sweet, and energetic 5-year-old boy who loves being outside, playing with his 2 brothers, learning about all things dinosaurs and nature, fishing, riding horses, and working cattle and exploring around the ranch with his family. He’s surrounded by loving family and friends, and everyone who meets him is touched by his vibrant personality and caring nature! 

On June 18, 2024, Caroline took him to the ER to get checked out for headaches that began increasing in pain and occurrence. A few hours later they received the most devastating news, Crockett had a mass, a posterior fossa brain tumor. They transferred care to Texas Children’s Hospital where he underwent a craniotomy to remove the tumor 3 days later. 4 days after surgery lab results confirmed that the tumor was Medulloblastoma. The tumor removal was successful, however, this type of tumor is an extremely aggressive and fast growing form of brain cancer. The grueling treatment he is scheduled to undergo will begin on July 29th and will consist of 6 weeks of proton radiation, followed by 7-8 months of chemotherapy.

The family is looking at a very long road ahead, and there are many hurdles and challenges that will be coming their way. Many friends and loved ones want to help and none of us are sure how we can do that. My hope is for this to help to relieve some of their financial burden so they can fully focus on treatment, healing, and being together as a family. There are a tremendous amount of expenses that have already started to stack up including relocating temporarily to Houston during treatments, food, transportation costs, the cost of the treatments not covered by insurance, and childcare for their other 2 young sons.
