Support Crocket's Journey to a Pain-Free Life

Hi friends! My name is Olivia Ciotoli, and I’m the owner of the Black Cat Market cat cafe in Pittsburgh, PA. We are partnered with a rescue called Frankie’s Friends Cat Rescue. Frankie’s specializes in cats from pretty rough situations.

Crocket is one of those cats! He’s about 10 years old and was unfortunately front declawed at some point. Declawing carries many risks, one of which is back pain and arthritis. Crocket has been exhibiting these to a fairly extreme level, and Frankie’s Friends has decided to start him on Solensia, a medication for feline osteoarthritis pain. He got his first injection a few weeks ago and is already feeling SO much better!

Unfortunately, Solensia can run $60-80 per injection, and he will need them monthly.

We want to fundraise to cover at least one year’s worth of medication for Crocket so he has a better shot of getting adopted. He already has a few strikes against him making him “hard to adopt” (his age and likely needing to be an only cat), and needing monthly medication isn’t helping his case. Crocket is a sweet, wonderful guy and deserves a happy and safe home.

All funds raised will go to Crocket’s medications. We are estimating a year’s worth of Solensia injections to cost $960. Anything raised past that amount will be donated to Frankie’s Friends so they can continue to help other cats in need.
