Hi, my name is Javin Hoover.

I'm a volunteer with the Stanley-Hall-Gorham Ambulance, also a volunteer in the Gorham Fire Department. In the field, we see critical moments that define the line between life and death—and it's in those moments that the right equipment can make all the difference.

Recently, I witnessed firsthand the urgent need for a Lucas life-saving device as we worked to extricate a patient and we were unable to perform manual CPR due to the tight quarters.

The Lucas life-saving device is a compact machine that performs automated and high-quality CPR that could drastically improve survival rates for patients in cardiac arrest by as much as 130%.
