Support Critical Care for Highway 1 Kitten
Donation protected
My fiancé was traveling north on Highway 1 just past Carmel High School at about 4:30 PM on 5/28/25 when he saw someone toss an object out of their driver’s window on the opposite side of the divide. He slowed down as the object ended up in the roadway ahead of him only to realize that it was this small 10 week old kitten. The kitten was immediately rushed to PG Animal Hospital, where they found he had no broken bones and no internal bleeding, but was not responsive to neurological tests. We then took him to the Blue Pearl emergency hospital. He is currently in critical care doctors are keeping him on a 24 to 48 hour hold and they currently think it could go either way. Worried about swelling in his brain from the trauma.
Setting this up for help with the emergency medical bills. If this baby makes it through, we plan to give him a loving fur-ever home.
All funds will be used to pay off related medical bills at Pacific Grove Animal Hospital and Blue Pearl Animal Hospital, as well as necessary items to welcome him to his fur-ever home when he, hopefully, is well enough to be released. (Food, litter box, litter, crate, etc.)
Any excess funds will be donated back to struggling accounts at Blue Pearl Animal Hospital, or to Peace of Mind Dog Rescue, who have also donated.
Thank you!
