Hola a todos, mi nombre es Cristina y recientemente me gradué en Física con una concentración menor en Alemán. Fui aceptada en una universidad en Alemania, algo que nunca pensé que sucedería en mi vida, pero pasó. Así que decidí tomar la oportunidad de seguir esta meta profesional.
Cuando me gradué en mayo, básicamente me quedé con la cuenta bancaria vacía por haber pagado mi bachillerato. En junio recibí la oferta de mi vida para estudiar una maestría en Nanociencia y Nanotecnología, así que empecé a trabajar en julio. Este es un sueño para mí, ya que es lo que quiero para mi futuro profesional. Me encantaría ayudar a mi isla, Puerto Rico, de la manera que pueda para lograr un mejor futuro para mi gente. Y esta oportunidad podría ayudarme a alcanzar eso.
Estoy muy emocionada de comenzar este camino y quisiera pedirles su ayuda. Dado que los costos son altos (como seguro médico, renta y demás) Alemania exige una cuenta bloqueada de casi 12,000 €, cantidad que aún no he podido reunir. Ahora bien, ya he logrado ahorrar algo, por lo que no estoy pidiendo esa suma completa. Si quisieran contribuir a mi futuro, les estaría eternamente agradecida y no saben cuánto me ayudaría a seguir adelante.

When I graduated in May I was basically left with an empty bank account from paying my Bachelors degree.
In June, I got the offer of a lifetime to study a Masters in Nanoscience and Nanotechnology so I started working in July. This is a dream from me since it is what I want for my future career I would love to help my island Puerto Rico in whichever way I can for a better future for my people. And this opportunity might help me achieve that. I am so excited to start this journey and well would like to ask for your help. Since it is a lot of costs given health insurance, rent and such, Germany asks for a blocked account of almost 12,000€ which I haven't achieved. Now, I have made some money, so I am not asking for that amount. If you would like to contribute to my future I would be forever grateful and you don't know how much it will help me move forward.
