Support Cristina's Family After Tragedy

My name is Cristina, and I am reaching out during the darkest moment of my life. Today, I lost my beloved husband of 25 years. Two years ago, a devastating car accident changed our family forever. My husband suffered a traumatic brain injury that left him unable to walk, talk, or care for himself. Since then, I devoted myself to being his caregiver, while battling my own injury from that same crash—a spinal injury that left me partially disabled.

My husband’s disability checks were our lifeline, helping us cover our mortgage, food, and essentials for our family of four. Now, with his sudden passing, my children and I face the real possibility of losing our home. As we grieve and try to find our footing, I fear for our future and the risk of homelessness for me and my two kids.
